Sessions & Fees

Pre-school Sessions

Children are welcome to join our Pre-school any time from the age of two years and can stay with us right until transferring to reception year at Primary School.

We are open during school term-time from 9am until 3.30pm offering morning, lunch and afternoon pre-school sessions throughout the week. We also offer a late collection at 4pm. For more information about registering your child, or to add their name to the waiting list, please send us an email at [email protected] or pop in to pick up a registration form.

Pre-school Children are also welcome to attend the Early Bird and After-school  Club sessions, but these need to be booked separately from the Pre-school sessions.

Fees should be given to a member of staff in the office. Bills are sent out via email on the 15th of every month, for the following month.

The fees are payable monthly and due within seven days of your bill being issued. Fees must still be paid for absence without notice. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time or if you are having difficulty paying your fees, please speak to the Pre-school Manager. A holiday form should be completed and submitted before the 14th of the preceding month.

Holidays

If you are having holiday during term time, you must notify us before the bill for that month is issued if you would like the sessions deducted from your bill. For example, if you require holiday in February, you must notify us before the 14th of the preceding month – January.

Changing sessions

If you wish to alter the sessions your child attends, please do so by filling out a written request and handing it in before the 14th of the preceding month. Forms are available in the foyers.

Charges for late collection of children

It is the policy of Pre-school to reserve the right to charge parents/carers for late collection. These charges are to cover staff overtime as 2 members of staff have to remain on the premises until the child/children are collected and also to ensure that the staff: child ratio remains adequate at all times. Late collection occurs when a parent/carer arrives AFTER 12.00 noon for the morning session, 1.00pm for lunch session or 3.30 pm for the afternoon session. We do appreciate that emergencies happen and we will do our best to support parents/carers. However, in all but extreme circumstances a late charge will apply. The charge is £5.00 per child for every 5 minutes (or part thereof) that the parent/carer is late. The time will be taken from the Pre-school office computers.

These are GMT accurate and are checked once a term for accuracy on timeanddate.com
